ABOUT ME

My name is Bethany, and I love to create art. After achieving an A* in both GCSE and A-Level Fine Art, I decided to pursue it further, dedicating an increased amount of time and resources to it. I started out by painting the pets of family and friends, then I started to charge a small fee for my pet portraits, and now as I receive continued exposure I have started to branch out with my subjects and turn my hobby into a career.

My chosen style to paint in is realism - I love to capture a photograph or animation in paint on a surface. I also love the reactions I have received from clients when they have been shown their pieces for the first time - I think that is one of my favourite parts of what I do. I also enjoy painting animation stills on a board or paper - achieving accurate and precise lines and angles to perfectly capture someone's favourite cartoon scene.

My preferred medium to work in is acrylic paint, however during the course of my 4 years studying GCSE and A-Level Fine Art I have worked in various mediums such as watercolour, graphic pencil, coloured pencil, mixed media, graphite and charcoal. I paint anything from pets to classic cars to buildings to objects to animation stills for a variety of clients.
